The minimal registered capital for Bulgarian limited companies
According to the Bulgarian Commercial Law the minimal registered capital required for Bulgarian limited liability companies is 2 /two/ BGN. The aim is to be allowed easy access for company registration.
However, although the legislation allows the companies to be established only with such minimal sum of 2 BGN, the exact amount of the capital for the each company depends actually on the company`s activity, so this issue should be preliminary discussed with the accountant.
The capital of one company is always a constant quantity, although it could be increased or decreased by decision of the shareholders/partners. Its meaning is related with the limited responsibility of the company toward third parties. One company should be responsible about its actions before third parties with its capital in case if the company has not property or other assets during its existence.
